The Path to Steel Peace

Who I Am

I’m Amanda, the heart behind Steel Peace. My journey is about finding inner peace and sharing that gift with others. As a Certified Vedic Educator — in Yoga, Meditation, and Ayurveda — I guide practices that go far beyond the mat. My work blends awareness with Pilates, mindfulness, breath-work, and holistic health, nurturing balance in body, mind, and spirit.

How I Teach

My approach is rooted in accessibility and care. I offer personalized one-on-one virtual sessions designed to meet you exactly where you are. These sessions create a supportive, intimate space where we can focus on your unique needs, whether you’re seeking more balance, strength, flexibility, or simple moments of peace. With gentle guidance rooted in Yoga, meditation, Ayurveda, Pilates, and mindfulness, I tailor each practice to your goals, pace, and comfort level. Together, we build a meaningful mind-body connection and one that supports your daily life as much as your time on the mat.

I also currently Substitute teach gentle online group yoga classes with MelWell (founded by my mentor, teacher Melanie Salvatore-August), and I continue to deepen my practice through ongoing mentorship, study, and community.

My Caregiving Story

Beyond certifications, my deepest lessons come from being a full-time caregiver to my brother-in-law, William, who has Down Syndrome. Together, we navigated his health journey; including a 250-pound weight loss that I supported through mindful movement, nutrition guidance, and compassionate care. That experience showed me the profound impact of holistic living and accessible practices, and it continues to inspire my mission: to meet people where they are and walk beside them on their path to wellness.

Community & Growth

I’m honored to be part of the Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center’s Milestone Circles Program, presented by Wells Fargo, supporting small business entrepreneurs.

I also deepened my yoga practice through a 200-hour Yoga Audit with my mentor, Melanie Salvatore-August — Chopra Yoga Teacher and founder of MelWell/OmStead an experience that continues to shape both my teaching and my personal growth.
