The Path to Steel Peace
Who I Am
I’m Amanda, the heart behind Steel Peace. My journey is about finding inner peace and sharing that gift with others. As a Certified Chopra Vedic Educator — in Yoga, Meditation, and Ayurveda — I guide practices that go far beyond the mat. My work blends Chopra wisdom with Pilates, mindfulness, breathwork, and holistic health, nurturing balance in body, mind, and spirit.
How I Teach
My approach is rooted in accessibility and care. I currently Substitute teach gentle online group yoga classes with MelWell (founded by my mentor, Chopra teacher Melanie Salvatore-August), and I continue to deepen my practice through ongoing mentorship, study, and community.

My Caregiving Story
Beyond certifications, my deepest lessons come from being a full-time caregiver to my brother-in-law, William, who has Down Syndrome. Together, we navigated his health journey; including a 250-pound weight loss that I supported through mindful movement, nutrition guidance, and compassionate care. That experience showed me the profound impact of holistic living and accessible practices, and it continues to inspire my mission: to meet people where they are and walk beside them on their path to wellness.
Community & Growth
I’m honored to be part of the Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center’s Milestone Circles Program, presented by Wells Fargo, supporting small business entrepreneurs.
I also deepened my yoga practice through a 200-hour Yoga Audit with my mentor, Melanie Salvatore-August — Chopra Yoga Teacher and founder of MelWell/OmStead an experience that continues to shape both my teaching and my personal growth.
